When I try to increase the brightness on the options screen my pc
completely locks-up the only way to get out is to press the reset button.
Apart from this the game runs with no probs (Demo version)
My Specs are:-

Doom3 and any game using its engine is surely gonna run way fast on
nVidia's uber fast OpenGL biased card.
Question is, how far behind will the X800 be? 15%? 25%? Enough to matter?

Being 38 years old, I am lucky enough to have grown up in an exciting
time where a new technology started to emerge. Video games in the
Home. People back then (1977) where entertained by the simplest of
graphics and where simple beeps were the only sound you heard. Today

Great game except for the terribly slow load savegames and the jumping
portions of the game that get ridiculous. That ruins the whole thing
due to the  falling deaths you may suffer from the jumping sequences
in some of the later maps  Dying, and having to load....again...and

Iam looking up arround for it no where near me  but it sound slike it

Did i miss it got the full game 1.1 Patch no sprint button, the speed
he SO CALLED runs is as bad as Unreal 2 :)

I am in Thailand and they have special Far Cry (official 5 cd version - not
pirated) with a T-shirt included. The box is larger than the normal DVD size

While not really much of a "problem", I am curious if anyone else sees this
behavior pattern with BF1942.
After a fresh install, it runs great for a couple of months.  I'm able to
run it with all resolutions, sliders, shadows, etc maxed and still enjoy

What the hell are they thinking? Whoever is developing this title
quite simply doesn't *get* it.

After Purchasing and playing FAR CRY For hours, I was simply amazed at
most of the graphics and physics in the game. The nicest graphics are
of the outdoors with ocean, trees and mountains waiting to be
explored. Unfortunately this game is simply detroyed by way too many

I am not to computer savy,so any help please explain in laymans terms.
I don't play many games but when I play heavy graphic laden games
(pain killer & Far cry) the screen freezes up after 2-4 mins, all the
time on both games at the same time period. So I assume it's something

Just somthing i would like to see when playing a game to see how hot
the CPu gets when playing, someone must have programed a UTE that does
this ?

After detonating the bomb the helicopter comes for me.  I have tried
all kinds of things and can never kill this guy.
