My question has to do with hooking up a Wii to an HDTV.
My Wii settings:
1) Widescreen settings set to 16:9

Ok, so, using various methods, including using the Action Replay for
GameCube, I've obtained the following NES games in Animal Crossing...

I would love to try the damn thing, but every store I've gone to has a
Wii behind an acrylic case (probaly just a hollow box) and that SAME
STUPID VIDEO playing over and over again (the one with that chick in
the blue blouse, leisure suit, or whatever the hell it is) blabbing

Oh my wife her patiens is running thin and tempter too, two days
before her birthday and what was going to be her holiday gift is now
her birthday gift I hope so, in the Somset Bridgewater area all the
stores , get them in fast they sell before she can get over and buy

After reading all the crappy reviews and negative press, I warily bought the
game today since I was jonesin' for a FPS on the Wii. This was after
watching a youtube vid of some cat that made a HalfLife2 mod using the
Wiimote setup.

Did you find your Wii by casually wandering into a store and simply picking
it up off a shelf? (this means no camping out, waiting in lines before the
store opened, pre-orders, etc)
If so, I'm curious, where'd you find it?

Judging a game solely on the reviews it gets is just like judging a movie
by the reviews that they get.  Even though most of them won't admit it,
reviewers are biased.  They are human, and they like certain things.  If
something, in this case a game, doesn't fall into that ...

I'm having difficulty getting my hands on a Wii here in the UK, but am
travelling to Japan next week for business.
If I was to buy one over there and bring it back will I have any
problems using it here in the UK?
