What's happening to +heal and +spelldmg gems in the expansion?

Which mechanicals is this known to work on? Which ones are a surprise that
it works or doesn't work?
Does it work on the trash mechanicals in Kara? Does it work on the Scryor's
guardians in Shatt or those in Silvermoon City?

I can't remember for sure, but I think that I read that daily quests
are going to reward less gold after the expansion.  Is this the

better, and it was more fun when running instances.

I have a hunter, and have currently attained all that I reasonably
will in the game, without raiding (which doesn't appeal to me).
I have every piece of Badge gear that I wanted, including some PvP
items (Dory's Embrace and Battlemaster's Determination).

Two RL friends and I really like PvP and we were good at world PvP
when we were levelling.  We often won encounters where we were
outnumbered or against higher levels.  We thought that we were really
good at working as a team and so really looked forward to the Arena

logins to my existing account, rather than having two separate accounts

Has anyone checked out the NPCs working on the Stormwind Castle to get
it ready for the expansion? I thought it was pretty interesting. They
are going to blast out a wall. Scaffolding going up, a couple of cranes
are there. Two NPCs are arguing about not enough/too much ...
