I have been trying for nearly 2 weeks now to install WoW on my brothers
PC.  Thought I would share my experiences.
First off, I'm pretty computer saavy (I write programs for a living).
At some point during the installation process I get an error similar to

just downloaded and installed the test client, and wanted to copy some
characters to use there. But when I'm at the character copy screen it says
I'm copying to the PVP test realm. How can I change that to PVE? Or can't I,
since my only characters on the regular realms are all on ...

Found this out the hard way fighting murlocs. I'm not sure how it got in my
main hand, but I suspect the hubby was playing a practical joke. (or course,
it didn't help that first I tried to tailor the murloc, having forgotton to
change toolbars)

I just finished reading that WSG, AB and AV tokens stack 20 high in a
unique stack, can someone confirm this is still the case? If so i think
i'll cry - i wanted to fill my whole bank with them and avoid leaving
the level bracket!!

Playing with a few of the 60 Rogues in my guild, the four of us were
doing a stealth raid on a small Horde camp in the Badlands. I got a
tip, that works so well, I can't believe it took me 54 levels to learn,
and I never figured it out on my own.

I need a few mods, but I have no idea what they're called. I've seen them
mentioned inhere, so I'm sure somebody can help me :)
1) I need a mod that changes trinket/boots/gloves when I mount and dismount,
so I can get max riding speed.

OK, Happened to step into a hole in the Hills along the "Great Sea".
I jump around in all directions for about 5 minutes before I realise that

I just got a two handed staff that "increases magical damage and
healing by up to 26".  Now I'm thinking that can't mean adding 26
extra hit points onto a heal, at level 58 that's utterly worthless.
So how do I translate that into how many extra hit points I can expect

How high does your character's level need to be to gain each of the PvP
ranks, I'm quite certain there's no such thing as a rank 14 level 19
character but i'm not sure of the actual numbers.

Is there any reliable way to know when a mob is tagged by you or someone
else?  Having the mob face you and fight you is often unreliable.

I remember when i played a long time ago and the BG were just
introduced there would be weekends with double honor or rep (can't
recall which) does this still happen? How do i know which BG and when ?
