After 5/6 months of playing 10-15 hours a week ive hit 60 with 2 chars now,

AV has really changed after the patch, without the NPC and a much better
loot battles are really fast, so basically we lose a lot faster on our
server (alliance).
I've noticed that horde summons the ice lord and the birds very fast.

I did duel a level 10 Priest with my level 10 Mage I keep loosing
because the priest keeps absorbing all the damage. How can I beat the
priest class with a mage?

I am ready to learn a gathering skill and a profession for my level 11
mage but I don't know what I should choose. Any recommendations? By
the way why to call something like lumberjacking or mining a
profession? Aren't professions just regular skills?
