My character is a level 10 hunter specialising in skinning and

I have noticed that you get a lots of "Ruined Scraps of Leather" when
skinning. I always thought these were good for nothing and sold them.

I'm just wondering what others thoughts are on this.  It seems to me,
many professions are essentially broken - you don't really make money
on them and most of the items you can craft are not as good as what

It's funny, really.  When my priest was running MC regularly, we'd get 20
purples a night and everyone would be yawning at 18 of them.  And then I
rerolled on a new server, and seeing any purple at all is like a huge deal.
