I hate instances. I nearly always play solo. I don't have much experience with
instances, but the ones I've visited so far seem to be full of elite mobs
tightly packed together. It is hard to be a hunter in them, because one easily
aggros too many mobs and it is hard to use ranged ...

I played my second day, I took some previous advice on two players
taking advantage of rest time. So I took my clvl5 undead warrior and
parked him in the Inn at Brill and Logged off, then started a night elf
hunter. Is it weird to have a Horde and and Alliance char on the same

OK, I have the game. I got a bit busy and didn't have time to pick it
up, I got it at lunch today, I am going to install after dinner tongiht
and start playing. Looking for first day advice, things I will want to
do and try to accomplish, just so I have some directions.

Is there any point in the +5 Herbalism enchantment? Do you get better
drops with a higher skill?

Apparently the equivalent of human rage/mana is focus for a pet.  That
is needed for 'growl' and other things.
Trouble is, that focus seems to drain pretty fast.  If I don't get a
growl off right away, he can't do it.

So, I know that I want to be Arms spec eventually.  Sweeping Strikes is
just too much fun, even if they do keep nerfing it.  But I keep hearing
that Fury is all that and a bag of chips, for leveling.  So I'm looking for
some feedback.

New to the game.  What is the next dungeon I should go to after doing VC?

Not having my Shadowcraft Gloves yet, I can't actually do the quest for the
45 min Baron run, so haven't tried it until tonight, when a guildmate
wanted to do it and I offered to help out with dps. All I can really say
right now is wow... it makes it a whole different encounter when ...

Ok...NE...Level 24...skinning leatherworking.
Hanging around the wetlands.  Never finished the VC quests.  When I get
bored, I head over to the barrens to fish for deviates (which, I still dont
understand the big deal about them.

I enjoy playing WOW with my friends and others. But one thing has
always sort of bothered me.
I ALSO enjoy soloing, AH work, and  working on trade skills such as
mining and engineering, fishing.

We did onyxia today, and normally she doesnt get to deep breath at all in
phase 3 because we have to much dps, but today she must have breathed at
least 10 times, and whats more the lava from the floor was rising in phase
2.

Is that the end of autobuff then, what was the problem that Blizzard
had with it?
All it did for me is remember to apply my Demon Armor...although auto
Life-Tap would be interesting as long as it only did it once my summon

Hey all,
I made the mistake of joining the WorldDefense channel, thinking it just
show up as the last channel (in my case /7). Instead it was in /4 and my LFG
is now /5 (and my 2 custom channels have also moved one spot).

Anyone else get this?

Kerio says the downloader got updated. Now that either means it patches
itself (which I originally thought). Or Kerio's database got corrupted
