Putting the "massive" in MMORPG30 Nov 2004 15:50 GMT2
Want to know how big the Horde-Alliance worlds are in sheer size?  I
took my Undead Rogue swimming today.  Well actually her ghost went
running on water to be honest.  Timed myself running flat-out without
stopping around the whole of Lordaeron/Khaz-Modan...
Swimming in WoW... I just don't get it.30 Nov 2004 15:48 GMT7
Dammit.  I want to go swimming!  Well, snorkeling might be a better
description.  I can swim well enough, and I can eventually manipulate every
key and mouse button near me to work out how to swim underwater, but I can't
figure out for the life of me how get my head back out of ...

WoW Roleplay vs. Normal30 Nov 2004 00:42 GMT9
What is the difference between the Roleplaying servers and the Normal PvE
servers if any. From what I've been able to gather so far is that the only
difference is the Chat conduct.

Anyone know what method is used to encrypt passwords in wow?
How can Blizzard know that you don't have an original CD?29 Nov 2004 15:04 GMT6
I was thinking they generate a set of completely random CD keys (no
keygen type algorithm), and these get stored in their Battlenet
server, while they also print one on each CD box. That way it's
absolutely impossible to crack. Whadyou guys think?
Need a fourth player -- WC3 Frozen Throne29 Nov 2004 03:59 GMT3
Two friends and I try to play every Sunday night (8pm EST), but we
have had trouble finding a fourth player to round out teams.  We
pretty much just play standard 2v2 levels, but we're open to
suggestions to spice it up.
Good druid quest27 Nov 2004 17:56 GMT2
For nightelves, the Relics of Awakening Quest in Dorlaar (?) gives you
a very good 2HB staff. You won't be able to really do the quest until
you are about 7th (solo), though, because the mobs inside the temple
dungeons are 7-10th. Might be able to group around 4-6 with a good
free came server 4 warcraft 227 Nov 2004 04:48 GMT1

Battle.net Warriors27 Nov 2004 04:41 GMT5
Battle.net Warriors is a Warcraft III based gaming clan on the battle.net
servers. BnW was created to bring gamers together to play games and have fun
as much as possible.
WoW23 Nov 2004 06:26 GMT14
I still seek WoW participants. Launch is T minus 2 days, and the clock
is tick-tocking.
I will probably join the roleplaying server, but am open for
persuasive tactics and mind-melting.

Ladder game dead?22 Nov 2004 20:22 GMT1
Hi, just a curiosity... I've been playing custom games, mostly dota ex non
stop for a year or so now.  When I tried to get back to the ladder game,
just for fun, I hear comments like... no one play it no more, all the pros
left and everything mostly because of the decay system ...
