Every time I change the difficulty level to a more difficult one(when I
play against bot opponents) the game doesn't save this
setting, and the next time I will always have the level set to
"normal"...why?

I have to thank Folk for the advice on the mousing surface.  The IceMat is
excellent!
What I ended up doing was getting a Razer Copperhead, a Razer Pro (white
mouse built pretty much identicle to the copperhead), 2 IceMat second

So I'm just getting into Linux, and I downloaded this file from
FileFront, that ends in "run".  Do I just double click on it?
Mods and mutators will generally run under Linux, or will they
generally not run?

I have recently aquired UT3 everything runs fine apart from the fact
*have to enter CD key on load up
*the settings will not save
*missions on main campaign will not save
