Truff Net purveyors of the UT servers amongst which ( I frequent) are Crap and Ghey , Big and Strange, Instagib will be closing their cyber doors at the end of May. I've enjoyed the gameplay immensely over the past years and will mourn its passing question is now where the hell ...

| Speaking of buttons | 26 Jun 2006 17:23 GMT | 6 |
My F3 and F8 don't work. My F3 is now tied to jump somehow. I went into settings from the control panel and changed it, but it is still jump. Where do I go to the main files to change the setting? Have I been hacked?

| Thumb button on MX518 stopped working | 26 Jun 2006 17:21 GMT | 5 |
Last night when playing UT (not 2003 or 2004 or something modern as that), suddenly UT hung and I had to kill it off (WinXP Professional). Probably after a lot of rapid (and more or less random) mouse movements...

Hey all. I just picked up a 6800 card today that has 512mb onboard for video. I seem to remember there was a way to enable a "super high" setting but there were no 512 cards out yet so it wasn't put into the menus. I googled for a bit to find it, but no luck. Does anyone remember ...

| Keyboard Gymnastics Question | 15 Jun 2006 09:22 GMT | 2 |
Some custom maps have elaborate "keyboard gymnstaics" where one has to navigate across narrow beams or posts at irregular intervals. When I do these I have to carefully go from one to the other and invariably end up in the toxic soup below.

| Vsync on all the time (UT with the new OpenGL renderer) | 12 Jun 2006 21:59 GMT | 10 |
It's not that I can complain as such since it runs at 100 fps. But I would like to see how much faster it would render if let loose. Drivers are the lastest from ATI, OS is XP Pro and VSYNC is set to allways off in the ATI control panel, while all other settings are at

| Does anyone remember... | 09 Jun 2006 08:17 GMT | 3 |
I was rummaging around today in my UT99 backup stuff. I still have the original packaging for the game. Can anyone remember why the box was so big? Mine measures 10" x 8.5". The jewel case that holds the CD is a standard size and the printed manual is fairly small. I have

| 2004 VCTF Question | 06 Jun 2006 21:02 GMT | 1 |
I recently bought the 2004 Editor's Choice edition, CD version exclusively for the purpose of setting up a VCTF server. It was sealed and unopened. Regardless of whether I use these CD's or my other CD's {with the above CD Key}, there is no VCTF gametype available in Host
