There is something that I'm trying to put my finger on about 2k4 that I'm
bothered with.  It has something to do with the game play, but am not sure.
There is something about the game that just doesn't seem (IMO) to move as

I finally found a website where you can download the applecrispy,
thepurplehaze, and many more of the modded guns that are hard to find.
For some reason, I can't play with more than one of these types of
guns at once (in practice mode). Can I fix that? Also, the message

and vehicles. One of the map Adara map, plays in a canyon with water falls
is I think the most gorgeous map I ever seen.

I have got ut2003 and ut2004.  One copy each.  I wondered if I can put
ut2003 on one machine and logon to a LAN match with ut2004 on another?
anyone tried, they have the same engine, don't they/

I am running an Athlon 64-3000 with 1 gig of OCZ 3500 ram and an Asus
9800XT. When I set the display in the game over 800x600 and then accept the
changes the comp will lock for a moment then none of the menus will work
(even though the mouse pointer does).  I have to ctrl-alt-del ...

I know a fair bit about networking, but I've never tried anything like
this.  When I start a server, no computers on the other side of the
router (on the Internet) can see the server.  If someone can even just
point me in the right direction to figure out how I need to set the

I'd like to backup my UT2004 user data: settings, games, screen shots,
etc.  What files/folders should I backup?

I used to be able to run it with all maximum details without a problem. Now
my PC struggles to keep up at the minimum settings. I ran my virus, spybot,
adware checkers, I updated my version of UT, and there don't seem to be new
drivers for my Radeon.

ATI Linux drivers have issues with UT2004, so I thought I'd retro, dug
up my old UT CD, got a Linux installer, and installed the game. Besides
the obvious realization that my machine is overkill for this game, I
also noticed that the sound plays too fast. Quite literally! ...

Am I the only one who gets irritated when some 40k file knocks me off a
server after downloading 50 meg of map files because of a version mismatch?
You have to exit UT, delete the offending file and start over...not a
very efficient way to handle this (game/map coders listen-up).

How do you accelerate the Valkyre? I press fwd and all I get is 1 MPH.
