I am playing the second level of TR1 Gold, Temple of the Cat.  After

I just want to play TR3 again, but the textures look like little blocked
squares (just like in TR 1). What could be wrong? I used win 98 a few years
ago, now im using win xp. What can i do about it?

Once in a great while, I'll manage to swing back to the upper ledge. But

I'm at an early part of Natla's mines. I swam under the waterfall at the
beginning, and reached the area with the railroad tracks and the equipment
room with the missing fuses.
It's clear that I need to climb up and do some business in the tunnels

Can anyone explain how to get a consistent jump from a wall walk.  This
is normally a problem for me when I have to jump to something behind
since she has a tendency to continue along the wall.
I would be interested in such variables as camera angle at time of jump,

Is there any way to make Lara jump backwards in Tomb Raider Anniversary?
Every time I try to do it she just twists around so it turns into a
forward jump. Then she's aimed in the wrong direction when she lands.

Kudos to me. After restarting and taking on the T-rex again, I finally
beat him with no cheats at all.
