ATI is worthless30 Aug 2004 09:30 GMT4
Before you think about spending your hard-earned money on ATI products
you should realize some facts.
For one, not only is ATI hardware second rate, but their drivers are
always full of bugs. They even warn you against installing the latest

TRLA Those damn Uzis!23 Aug 2004 20:58 GMT22
So, anywho, after several hours trying to get it to work, from a variety of
different positions and angles...the ledge with the harpoon gun, the other
side of the river bit, the bridge bit *sigh* and then trying to follow
Jeff's example...nup. No good. At all.
Beautiful TR music by Nathan McCree now available for the PC version of TR23 Aug 2004 10:50 GMT2
A load of Nathan McCree's music got left out of the PC port of Tomb Raider,
and worse the Sold Out Software version left out the ambient sounds. I've
just released version 1.29 of Glidos, which can recognise scenes and trigger
audio tracks when they appear. There's also an audio ...
SPOILER ( TR3 ) More TR3 goofiness...18 Aug 2004 12:13 GMT5
Has anyone ever gotten the Cheshire Raptor before?
While playing the BIG GUN sequence, in the CRASH SITE area of TR3, Lara
decided to see what would happen if she blew the walls across the

SPOILER ( TR3) Velociraptor resurection...17 Aug 2004 22:32 GMT1
A while back I told you all of the weird experience I had playing the
T-Rex scenario in the CRASH SITE section of TR3. Wherein Lara entered
his area, activated him, ran for the switches and then heard him simply
keel over dead behind her for no apparent reason - no shooting, no

[OT] (kinda) AoD>Doom317 Aug 2004 08:37 GMT6
After playing Doom3 for a few hours, it crossed my mind that AoD should
have used THIS engine.   It is amazingly detailed.  Level of realism and
immersion boggles.  It's the kind of thing where you get surprised by
baddies because you're standing around gawking.  Like a youngster ...

There's this entrance I noticed, not far from the beginning

tomb 2 on xp fmvs crash16 Aug 2004 11:45 GMT5
from what i have read, tomb 2 should not need anything special to run on xp.
but when I run it the starting movies lock up after a few seconds.
I can ESC out of them and play the game, but would like to see the fmvs
in-game.
