Eek! Stuck! Can't find the key to the Pumphouse and can't find out how to get in to the Mechanist area to find the clock. Help! Please!

| Ghost House | 29 Apr 2005 13:50 GMT | 2 |
How on earth do you get out of the room you start in? It doesn't seem to matter whether I choose 'Ghost House' or 'Haunted Hospital' but that door will not open! Now playing 'The Time That Has Passed' instead...

| Delford Abbey | 29 Apr 2005 03:22 GMT | 7 |
Am I the only one finding this mission incredibly difficult? I mean, the whole of the ground floor of the abbey is tiled and you have pretty much no equipment! I managed to do that eventually (though not very stealthily) and am now down in the crypt but with nothing like holy water ...

| Thief and other stealth games and - which sound card? | 27 Apr 2005 06:09 GMT | 4 |
Thief fans, self included, might want to check out the Hitman series. I got in at #2, picking it up on a whim while I was out looking for T:DS. While every mission involves killing at least one person, you're rewarded for doing it subtly and with minimal violence. Like Garret,

| Thief 4 - Why Not try this instead ? | 24 Apr 2005 21:54 GMT | 2 |
Why not put together a Fan Based CDR? How about "The Best Of Volume 1" for Thief 1 "The Best Of Volume 1" for Thief 2

| T-Deadly Shadows question | 24 Apr 2005 02:05 GMT | 4 |
I just acquired T:DS and I've completed the training mission and the next mission and exited the program after making a Quick Save. When I restarted Thief:DS I expected to find the last mission listed when I pressed the LOAD button, but there was no list.

| How many signal bolts? | 23 Apr 2005 17:51 GMT | 6 |
Surely there are eight, with which to make at least seven (but I'm well 'ard so I do ALL EIGHT!) Guiding Beacons in the last level? I've only found three. Where the bejasus are the other five? JJ (UK)

| knockouts, whilst airborne? never noticed that before. | 20 Apr 2005 15:55 GMT | 6 |
Hello all. Just finished playing the FM 'A Keeper's Betrayal' and found something that I've never stumbled upon before in either thief 1 or 2. After completing this mission I looked up the stats screen and found it had the usual counts for backstab and knockouts, but after ...

| T2X Trailer is out! | 20 Apr 2005 15:16 GMT | 86 |
For those of you who don't know this already, a huge Thief FM campaign called T2X: Shadows of the Metal Age has been in development for over four years (yup), and now the wait is nearly over as the release date draws near. To wet out appetites the T2X team has released a trailer, ...

| Re-maping keys in T:DS | 17 Apr 2005 13:39 GMT | 1 |
Is it possible to re-map some of the keys using changes in the Deadly Shadows user.cfg file, without screwing up other parts of the program? I'd like to use the same keys that I use for THIEFG and THIEF2 to avoid

| Converting the original T:DS missions to PC-sized missions | 10 Apr 2005 01:26 GMT | 4 |
Now that the Thief: Deadly Shadows editing tools are available, is anyone working on a special PC version of the original missions set? I have no idea whether such a thing is even possible, but it would be great to be able to play the original missions without those silly

| Your favorite T: DS tweaks/adjustments? | 09 Apr 2005 13:20 GMT | 8 |
Today, I bought Thief: Deadly Shadows after holding off for almost a year. At the no-longer-the-newest-thing price point of $18.95, I could finally justify what I feel is essentially a PC port of a "dumbed-down-for-Xbox" sequel to two of my favorite stealth-themed games.
