It's taking me a while to get used to T3...I didn't like it AT ALL when I first started...I'm doing better now... I wish they had cut-scenes (so far all I've seen is quotes during the loads...)

Hope there's room for one more person's impression of the game. I know that many of these issues have already been addressed but I thought I'd give my opinion of them and my take on the game in general. Feel free to correct my criticisms if I overlooked something.

My Agent newsreader tells me: "there are too many messages to retrieve in this group". Can i change Agent`s settings somewhere? Or else can somenbody recommend a better newsreader?

I just purchased the game and so far it is better than I thought it would be. The only complaints I have are minor. complaint 1: In the interest of making the game INTERFACE look better, the use of it has become cumbersome.

Well I got it and it's installed and I already found a bug!!! While setting up your options, don't double click (change) the "Use Weapon" key. Instant crash to desktop! I've done it 3 times now to make sure. I can change other settings, just not that one.

I take back what I said earlier about the movement (1st person) being improved over earlier versions. After 1 hr of playing the demo the constant jigging about was making me feel sick!

Not that I condone downloading programs for free, but I ran across a reference that said T:DS is posted in alt.binaries.games.encrypted . Could be a bogus one or have a virus, but for those that have to wait longer to get it, this might be one option.

When my stick is plugged it vibrates. I don't see anywhere in Thief3 to disable using the joystick - pissing me off.

Not too much to add to other's posts, but it's definitely Thief. :) For the record, my system is 2000 Athlon XP, GeForce 3Ti 128mb and 512mb of system memory.
