Ok how do you operate the vault code thingy in lord percivals house.....is
the code 1423? if so how do you get the numbers to change? I only get 1 &
2's....T.I.A.

Where can I find this thing?  It's the only thing I have left to do on my objectives.

I'm stuck! I can't find any rope arrows, which I believe I need in the
cathedral..? I've got the sword, and both lockpicks, but no cog wheels.
there's a closed gate down in the basement where the square lockpick is, is
that door I need to open to get progress?

This is a pretty cool mission.  I like the rooms filled with water in the Mages building.  But I'm stuck.  I can't figure out how to turn off the alarms in the building.  I've wiped out everyone I can find, so its no problem for me to just grab the Fire Talisman and leave.  But ...

If the mission's supposed to be ghostable, how do you get down from
library rafters without leaving a rope arrow? I pulled it off in the
rafters in the hall outside the lord's bedroom, but I can't see how
it's possible in the library.

How to I drop the item in the chamber?
I gathered the required element for the frame and I do have access to the
chamber but I can not leave the item in the room (chamber and Lt Hagen's
room) why? and what should I do?

Okay, I'm playing Art of Thievery again but this time on Hard mode and
I could use a hint where the 2nd painting (The Rhyme of the Trickster)
is to be found.  Thanks.

I tried to install it on my new PC running Windows XP, and it said it doesn't
support NT.  Any suggestions?

I noticed several messages here that discussed the issue of the game
slowing down to a crawl as you progress through the level.
I finally found a post that had the solution, but I think a lot of
people might have missed it.. so I'm posting it again here for those

I looked around the whole map but couldn't find the key for the door
in the library. does anyone know where the key is?

I searched the google archives, and one other taffer asked about this, but there was no response.  How am I to decipher the combination to get into the door at the top of the tower in "Business at Midnight"?
