My game works again, with my shiny new graphics card, so I have put in a few
hours the last week.    In my little neighbourhood I created 4 sims to play
sort of legacies.    Sort of because I didn't start them out on large plots
with 2 sticks of furniture, but on medium plots ...

Well, I got my BACC (Build A City Challenge) to the point where I
had universities, so I decided to bring in some new sims as uni
students, doing a University Assylum.  The UA challenge is relatively
short, as it is finished one way or another.  I've done it three

Well, I had a grumpy day when I had yet another problem with my
BACC--a lot failed to load.  I decided to just start over.   I rather
like the beginning of a Build A City Challenge, so I suppose it is not
tooo bad to start over.

OK, after more than a year away I've decided to get back into Sims 2 - I
have Apartment Life and I've downloaded updated versions of two of my
favorite hacks, ACR and Inteen:

This new 2.0 ACR seems sort of different...I'm having a bit of trouble
figuring it out.  One thing I'm missing is the pregnancy scanner...can't
seem to figure out how to make it come up...

Iam having so much fun playing the sims again now that everything runs
so smoothly, but I discovered two things I wanted to ask you about.
I stopped playing just after I got Free Time, so I still have to learn
some new things about the last packs.

Okay, I said I woudl not start with The Sims 3, but ehm, I have seen
screenshots lately (I tried avoiding those, but it did not work;-).
Anyway, before I rush into anything I would like your input about the
differences between the two games, things like the way it's playing,

I recently ordered the Sims 2 "Fun with Pets" direct download. It's
Sims 2 Pets w/2 stuff packs I didn't own yet. As a digital download, I
have to install all 3 at once.
Of course, I have an existing install. Is there any way to uninstall
