A rant about clothing28 Apr 2008 23:58 GMT16
OK, I think certain clothing creators have finally pushed me over the
edge...
Why the eff do you have to create 10 versions of the same t-shirt, all of
them green and all of the colour differences almost imperceptible to the

FreeTime and sims' inability to autonomously prepare food for themselves27 Apr 2008 10:14 GMT53
Is it me or have the sims lost the ability to feed themselves when they get
hungry?
I've created two new households, and the same problem is there with both.

Happy Birthday MM!26 Apr 2008 07:09 GMT15
Happy Birthday Madame Mim!
I know it's almost 5pm and I almost totally forgot, but there's still enough
of the day left for it to count, right?
And in case you're wondering how I came by such stalkerish information - you

I want a new video card.  My game is acting up with endless blue
screens in game.  I even uninstalled all the EPs and progressively
installed the EPs I figured I use the features of most often (NL,
Seasons and FT), checking each time to see if it was playing ok.  The

semi-ot - quick note23 Apr 2008 14:38 GMT7
Since I smsed Mim & Engram the other day asking if they knew of any
socket370 motherboards, they're probably thinking I'm stuck offline. No need
to panic - it was just my old 98 box dropping dead of old age. Still got my
other two computers. I really should get around to ...
Something is seriously wrong with my newsgroups...23 Apr 2008 08:57 GMT5
It's probably just me and not everyone else out there...

can use an alternate news server to download posts and post, but not my
usual news server. Which is really stupid.

Hi, the only way I can download on MTS2 is with QX but now the download icon

can't seem to get the option anymore, even on maxed out
Body Skill Sims.
Challenges, Mini-challenges, for regular games21 Apr 2008 12:37 GMT6
I had fun doing the assylum challenge (where you control only 1 of 8
sims until the controllable sim meets their power aspiration want).
Now I use that style of household in my regular games to house quasi-
NPCs for being employees.
Celebration stuff21 Apr 2008 09:47 GMT9

(It's not the Holiday Stuff... I have that one.)
Pond fountain?!21 Apr 2008 06:30 GMT3
Hi...
I can't find the little fountain gizmo in my game.  I know it's there but
where?  I've spent far too much time looking for it!  (I hope you know what
I'm talking about!  Sort of a sprinkler for your pond)

I'm getting a new computer soon, and it will almost certainly be a Mac.
The new Macs have a feature where they can boot up as either a Mac or
a PC and run software of either--sort of like a schizo computer.
I was wondering if anyone here has experience playing a very large Sims
