Welps, game started getting kinda slow with so many houses and
decorations etc. in the neighbourhood so I decided to turn the
graphics options to minimal with the exception of resolution which I
kept at 1024x768 so the GUI will fit properly on screen. Suddenly it's
Everything I need to know, I learned from the The Sims.30 Oct 2007 00:56 GMT3
Everything I need to know, I learned from the The Sims:
1. Get a job, use the bathroom, and learn how to cook, in that order.
Everything else will fall into place.
2. You can have a career, a social life or children; pick any two.

Someone here had that problem - it showed up in BV.
Pescado came up with a fix with it. Since no one else mentioned it, thought
I might just in case the original poster missed it...

...at the gym. Yes I go to a gym now! :-P
Anyway... this guy had on a tshirt with three lightningbolts on it.
Yellow ones, with the outline around it... just like in the game.
Perfect chemistry! And I swear, the very first, immediate, spontanious
Strange Happenings28 Oct 2007 11:57 GMT4
Today I was playing my Sims, had been playing about 3 or so hours when all
of a sudden, the whole screen was pixelating and then cleared up. Well, it
scared me so I exited. Later on I started playing again for about a couple
hours but this time no problems. This is the first time ...

I don't know how 'new' this information is, but studies are currently going
on into building   _right_to_a_lots_edges_
http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=254032 by the use of the lot
expander to contract a lot after you've built on it = proper row houses.
Man About Town26 Oct 2007 09:19 GMT9
Oh, those splendid college days! Zaroc Syrtec, a Biology major at Ye
Olde U., found himself dumped, literally, in the lap of that hapless
widow, Colly Dwindling, the mother of one of his dorm mates. Seems she
had been standing by a certain wishing well...Colly, pregnant with ...
Thinking of getting the new BV24 Oct 2007 13:42 GMT19
I have all the other expansion packs and think I want to get the new one.
If you got it, did it slow everything down ALOT!  Are there some glitches?
or patches already out?  Is it really worth the money?  The game already
takes a long time to load, and sometimes it crashes ...
Moving Sims with toddlers23 Oct 2007 17:44 GMT14
I decided that Pascal and toddler Indiscriminately (don't ask...was in a
weird mood when she was born) needed to move away from the brothers and
try it on their own so I loaded up all the nursery supplies and Pascal's
bedrrom suite into his inventory and sent him to the newspaper ...
First Trip to Vacation Land23 Oct 2007 10:38 GMT31
I sent Challis Shepardess and her boyfriend, not a live in, to 3 Lakes
or whatever the lumberjack place is....really strange that you have to
"manage" your invited guest through the vacationing SIM...they did a bit
of smooching on the bed and then she decided she was too tired ...
Bathing a dog23 Oct 2007 03:26 GMT8
How do you get the sim to bathe their dog?  I'm not finding that
option anywhere.  Any help appreciated.
Builders Wanted23 Oct 2007 03:24 GMT48
So, I'm finally pulling my finger out and getting back to building
Neighbourhoods (and, especially, completing Wild Wild West - my themed
'American West' Neighbourhood) and I'm looking for builders of 'western'
community lots and housing. Preferably in base game and without ...
