For those who read my last thread here, I was having issues with a Sim
stealing my paper and tipping out my rubbish. I took the advice of PuppyKatt

I downloaded a whole heap of floors. Wondering why they didn't show up, I
went into the folder and found they were .flr files. Does Sims 2 use these
or are the old hat from Sims 1? I was sure it was a Sims 2 site but I may
have been on the wrong part of the site. I did have the ...

I notice now that a lot of my in game icons are screwed up.  Some of the
thought bubbles show jagged vertical lines, but not all of them.  Some are
fine.
Some of the job icons are messed up.  Like I had one sim (who's dead now)

I have a difficult question.
Okay, at the moment I have 512 MB Ram in my pc, normally that is
enough for the Sims 2, but I am getting so many donwloads that the
game is slowing down considerably.

Just thought I would ask here because I cannot seem to connect to MTS2
tonight. I have a guy who keeps taking my newspaper and tipping out my

I have installed sims 2, and EP nightlife, but when i tried to play
nightlife it says this:
"Please eject and re-insert The Sims 2 University disc, select OK and
restart the application".

Hi: I'm trying to run Sims 2 in WinXP with Gforce 5700 LE video card.
When i install the game and try to run it for the first time i get a
tiny error window that shows nothing except the white x in the red

Does anybody know know of any hacks that will let you go into Build Mode or
Buy Mode when playing on community lots?  I remember there was something
like that for Sims1.
