thing. I don't think there's anything you can do on your end. What I'm
wondering is this, Is this related to having a changing ip address (that's
what my comcast requires of me, a dhcp) and having the cd key ...

Saw that you bought a Geforce 7800 a while ago. I notice that there
are a few different ones out there. I am uncertain as to the finer
specs. I want one that is PCI-E. Any advice as to wich is a good one

Ok  i have struggled with this for ages now...
I've set up a quake 3 server with Maverik's NoGhost (www.noghost.net)
mod, and got it to work with a decent .cfg.  But it won't show up in
ASE List no matter what i try.

I am looking to upgrade to a 19" LCD monitor.  It must have integrated
speakers to save desk space.  The speakers do not need to be that great
since when playing games I always use headphones anyway.  The display must
be good though and have a good refresh rate for games.

What exactly does the vm_ui command do in Quake III ?
