i dont want to sound anoying but lately its getting ridiculous in
excessive mod games , we cant play 2 min without hearing about nades
spam and game hosts, the ones who complain about grenades like
crybabies. i never see the point of calling the use of grenades

Just got moved out in the sticks and got the only thing with decent D/L
speeds. Satellite Internet. My only other option was dial up. Any luck
using this playing? Anyone playing Urban Terror in this group? Ping time

im not posting to complain or anytin like it, but i just i noticed when u
use grenades, you get kicked,  what for?....all i get is: grenades spam and
some crap, what is wrong with grenades? some players just use mg or rail or
bfg, or some players camp or use cheat bots and nobody ...

I have a problem with my q3arena (original, updatepatch to 1.32, excessiveplus
etc.)
Sometimes,when connecting to multiplayer games, it says "Invalid CD key?" etc.
and does not let me connect. Needless to say (so I'll say it here) my CD key

A friend is getting this message on SOME, not all servers. I have the
following as a workaround:

Just started getting a Q3 problem I never had before.  After a couple of
minutes of online play, the game quits and the following message comes up.
Couldn't open c:\Quake III Arena\baseq3\pak0.pk3
Anybody know what's wrong and waht should be done?

Tournament Mode and we could not change it to FFA - so as we played, I took

I moved. Now I can't join your server. I'm getting a couple cd-key errors
like "mistyped cd key?" and "Invalid cd key". Damn I have a new IP addy and
I guess the authentication server is not liking seeing my cd key coming from

If I to an online game I freeze up everytime within seconds of joining the
game. On every freeze up there is a punkbuster message displayed. I have
given q3 permission to access the internet. If I turn off the nvidia
firewall all is well and I can connect and play.  Do I need to ...

I just tried to play on a different server and was first kicked off by Punk
Buster, saying that my version was old and it was going to update it - and
then WARNING mesgs came on about VIOLATION - UPDATE REFUSED...
Does anyone know if this is as bad as it sounds?

Why dont more people play Team Arena - the mod with skulls to harvest, cool
powerups and different weapons?  I cant even find any online servers in my
area to play it on.
Personally, it lacks the intencity of the original Q3 - but I thought that

..OK, not much of one, but going from a Radeon 9200SE 64Mb to a Geforce
FX5200 128Mb doubled my FPS in Doom3 ;)
Haven't tried it with HL2 yet. That game was pretty much unplayable with my
old card, and since I still only have 512Mb of RAM... LOL :)

I regularly play on a server that has all the standard maps - but thats all.
Is there a way to introduce a map to the server? - perhaps to get it to
download the map from somewhere else?
I have written to the server owner already, but have had no reply...

i know this is not new, but i noticed alot of game host telling to not
spam... if they dont like ex: grenades, instead of weining like hell,
kill/kick the player for no reasonand having to start all over again in the
scoring ranks, and telling ppl to not use grenades, why dont ...

idiots in here... (myself included)
