Are there any good programs for making Quake 3 names, with colors and
special symbols?  I've tried maybe five, but they all suck.  How hard
can it be to make one that doesn't? Someone has to have done that in the
six years that have passed since the games was released.

hi all, im looking for a server admin whom wouldn't mind helping me, im
needing some help with my quake3 server, im renting a Lenox server but haft
to manage the q3 server software my self, the guy set it up to run, and it
runs great, no lag, but i need help with map rotation ...

Are there any other games, old or new, that have gameplay as fast as
quake - in particular threewave?  The reason I've never been able to
get into a newer game is that after you've played quake, everything
else seems like snails having a camping fest.  In ever other FPS game

I would like to change weapons and fire immediately in Q3A DM.
Used some scripts but is not working. Ideally I would like to get
somewhere a good script for weapon changing and kill those delays.

Hi, I have serious mouseproblems in Q3....
I have a Logitech MX510 mouse, and, because I play some other games, I have
disabled mouse-acceleration in XP, both with the "nomouseacc.reg" file found
everywhere on the net, and with the sliders in the logitech mouseware+the

hi all, was wondering if anyone could tell me how, or if even i can run more
than 1 mode of quake 3 on 1 server, so i can do maybe a /rcon quit from the
consol and the server restart in the next mod in line.

Cruising through http://www.warezdownloads.info/archive/downloads9.php  and
blow me down, they have Q3 for download - zipped to 150mbs.  I am not sure
about the quality or online capability, but the game by itself is better
than nothing.

Sometimes in Q3 I'll just freeze up - I can look around, but it won't
respond to mouse-clicks or key presses in-game. I can still bring up the Esc
menu and the console but can't do anything in the game - and I'm not lagged
out, since this is offline play.

I've downloaded loads of new maps for Quake over time but I've noticed that
some of them are disappearing - the .pk3 files are still there and I can
load them from the console but they've stopped showing up in the in-game map
browser.

Where is everyone? Are there only a few of us playing some Q3 anymore?

I've put my cdkey into quake3, and it still says invalid cd key when i try
and join a lot of gamespy servers.  Any ideas why?
