Is there an official release date for this game?

Does anyone know how to do this properly ? I cannot find any manuals on how
to script Close Air support.. Radio works etc, but planes refuse to target
the area.
Added to that, I have to have a flying A10 anyway since it won't sit on the

a) russians must launch SCUD at exacly 1 hour after start mission

I hope what happened to halflife 2 doesnt happen to opfp2.
that weird occurence where on some level the game downgrades itself in certain
ways. such as with halflife 1 the AL was so smart and oddly humanlike,yet in
game 2, the AL actually got kinda  stupid where they would just run ...
