the end of buying used games? Orange Box registration problem29 Mar 2008 23:50 GMT13
I bought a used copy of the Orange Box at a mom and pop PC shop for $20.
It had both discs and had the registration page/box, so I thought
there would be no problems.  Took it home and tried installing it, but
it only installs through Steam, and it said somebody else was using ...
Running Games on 2nd Display29 Mar 2008 03:04 GMT3
I'm trying to play Portal on my HD TV but I can't find the option to
select secondary display device as you can with other aplications.
All I can do is run in windowed mode and drag it to my TV but
obviously running windowed doesn't work correctly.
BTW, the rest of the game so far has been freakin' awesome!29 Mar 2008 02:59 GMT1
Didn't want y'all to get the mistaken impression that I haven't been

Nova Prospekt was that bad.

and I cannot complain. I consider to get another monitor cheaply, and

Anyone play this lately? I downloaded it to play through it again but it
will not work with steam.  It loads into a directory but there is no HL
executable file.  Hoping someone can help.
Thanks in advance
Impressions after second run in Easy06 Mar 2008 18:59 GMT1
Definitely enjoyed myself more this time, especially knowing which
tactics to use!  I like the boat more than the buggy.  The buggy's
Turbo can be problematic since you can't just tap it.  Also, steering
the boat is easier since you can't hurl yourself off of cliffs or even
Portal and my computer05 Mar 2008 18:59 GMT3
My Dell Inspiron has a cpu with T7200 2.0 ghz and Portal system requirements
say minimum of 1.7 but 3.0 ghz is reccomended.  Is my cpu adequate to play
this game?  I can't play Lost Coast. At first I thought it was my video
card, but now I figured out it is due to my apparently ...
