Stupid Counter-Strike: Source question31 Dec 2007 04:28 GMT2
I bought Orange Box and gave HL2 and Episode 1 to my uncle.  He's loving
them and wants to do some multiplayer, he also has a military background and
so I thought he'd like Counter-Strike.
I've managed go go through HL, HL2, etc. and never played CounterStrike.  I
Bug Fix Hunt29 Dec 2007 19:00 GMT2
As it appears the many issues of the hl2.exe file and the
datacache.dll file have been around longer than they should have. At

I actually quite like it.
With Steam, I can make my purchases on line, dls have been flawless, I don't
have to coninuously stuff the scratched old cd into the drive to play, it
seems to be pretty secure.

I am in the last chapter of Episode 2 from Orange Box. I am using the
latest updates from Steam and all the components. For some reason, the
last chapter is giving me reproducable crashes in some specific areas
inside the silo area in White Forest level.

Another TF2 Bash this Sunday17 Dec 2007 22:20 GMT10
After last week's screamer of a bash, I can't help but to try for the
same again this week - Especially since this looks like the last
opportunity we'll all get this year before most will be too busy with
festive family gatherings, mince pies, brandy and wine.

Could I disable it? I want to do it manually so that it would not hang

HL2 is frustrating...07 Dec 2007 17:48 GMT3
I've heard so much about how this is one of the best games ever, and
maybe the best FPS, but I have to admit I'm getting really frustrated
early on.
I feel like I am constantly being attacked by enemies from all over the
