A sort of follow-up, I suppose...
- F5 still quick-exits despite not being bound to anything, and despite
'quit' not being bound to any key (according to the UI, haven't checked any
config.cfg files yet)

So, new computer, excellent excuse to try playing through HL again.
Keep hitting F5 to quicksave (I know it should be F6 but I've just been
playing Riddick and can't break the F5 habit) but it dumps me out to the
desktop (without saving). Is that normal?

Will one steam account work on multiple computers? For example will it work
on both a pc and a laptop, without having to pay for the game twice?
There are some software like Norton anti virus that allow installation of
the software on up to 3 machines as long as they are all in ...

Many of the newer games, including HL series, have NPCs that fight along
with you. Many are becoming more realistic and human. How many here feel a
sense of loss when they die or motivation to help them on an emotional
level?

I was curious as to how well I'm doing after playing for two years.
It's not a competition, hell I think if it were I'm going to come last.
I'd just like to know the sort of things you could play after two years
so I can gauge myself against your expertise at that time.
