What is the situation with none-Valve games?
What I mean to say is, if you buy a game produced and released by Valve
you can register it on Steam and then you have - essentially - got it
forever as you can always download it.

IIRC, there's a setting somewhere in the old HL engine that lets you muck
about with the field-of-view type thing - so you can make the edges of the
screen start to wrap around, effectively giving you some peripheral vision.
Anyone?
