Merry Christmas27 Dec 2006 08:59 GMT33
I wanted to send some sort of Christmas greeting to my friends and
colleagues, but it is so difficult in today's world to know exactly
what to say without offending someone.
So I met with my attorney yesterday, and on his advice I wish to say

They give it for this weekend (more exactly, until Tue 26 Dec) for
free.
I installed the game and found it uninteresting. I would not take it
even if it was for free.

Children Of Men20 Dec 2006 00:53 GMT8
Anybody seen this movie?
There's a thread on IMDB saying it's very reminiscent of Half-Life 2.
The near future setting still somewhat recognisable of today but ravaged
by decay and urban warfare from some major catastrophe.

After a few days of frustration this morning Steam asked for my Name

Any way to edit config files WRT password? And/or to play offline without turning off my DSL?16 Dec 2006 06:37 GMT8
I'm not sure whether the problem is on my computer, or whether Steam's gone
to Mars at the moment, but - I normally play HL2 (single player) in offline
mode. I set it up for offline because when I purchased it, I was on dial-up.
A few months ago, I got DSL, and now find that even ...

Can someone tell me whether Wombats live only in Australia,

What the future holds10 Dec 2006 19:30 GMT4
Half-Life is a very mysterious world. I have been its partner since
January 2001 with my first playing and beating of Half-Life 1. The
long wait for Half-Life 2 was worth it. Then came Episode One. Now
let’s cock our shotguns for Episode Two! :)
crosshairs hl08 Dec 2006 13:00 GMT2
I used to be able to change the crosshairs in the original half-life.
The directory where I used to put the new crosshair is not available in the
half-life that comes with Steam, so I assume it has to be done a different
way.
Half-life "Reloaded"07 Dec 2006 12:48 GMT37
It's the original Half-life in flash. For the effort that's gone in
this is very impressive!
Easy to take shots at this, I think it's more brave to highlight it's
good points.
