   My luck is so bad that if I bought a    

I've just installed HL1 on my new computer, and I'm trying to reload
my old saved game (I never completed the game).  I seem to be losing
about half the game.  
The files in the saved folder are:

Anybody have words of wisdom for jumping over those 3 green, metal
boxes in the On a Rail level? I need to get over them to go up the
stairs to push the button that raises the rail gates. But I can't jump
high enough.

OK - not the proper group for this but just played through COD UO again and

Well after making the $30.00 mistake of Buying the game used I Realized
The Whole Secruity Features and that The Key Code can only be used
once. After Purchasing a new copy from Compusa for only $20.00 and
waiting about 3 hours for the 5 Disk Installation, The Steam Update,

I added cl_allowdownload 0 but it still downloads those annoying wav files
from servers.  What is the proper command?

Is there some popular map pack that  servers are using?  Every server I try,
I always have to download maps, its annoying. Its not like this for
counter-strike.

Has anyone tried this mod?
What do you think about it?
Is it worth the time and space?
And what about the soccer one?

Is there any groups to discuss the cars?  I love them, but I can't
find any groups.

Just curious, anyone keeps track with the size of the updates that Valve
releases?  They seem to release them so frequently, its getting annoying.
