From the little I've read so far, it seems a lot of people have had this
issue.  WTF?  I installed the game, went to run it, and RIGHT AWAY I get
"Cannot connect to Steam Network".  No delay at all.  How am I supposed to
troubleshoot this?  I already bypassed my Router and I'm going ...

I seem to be having a lot of Half-Life 2 crashes today that I never had
before. I am currently in Entanglement level right now. I already had
like five HL2 crashes with this exact error within an hour:

Least that's what it looks like in the trailer.  Looks like it behaves

I have seen other posts from persons with  similar problems but never any
thoughts on the possible causes.
Counter-Strike was working just fine till I upgraded the CPU from an Athlon
XP 2100+ to a 3000+.This included the newest BIOS upgrade, a change in FSB

i had great difficulty to beat the combine in the prison with 3 centrys,so i
searched for an easy solution and with no cheating.
i placed them near the stair,1 floor up.
(plenty of boxes to stack)

Just started Route Kanal and the loading screen as changed from the city
square to a derelict pond with helicopter. Really cool. Do these screens
change at random or as you get further ?
