Any chance it's possible to play HL2 with a gamepad like Logitech's RumblePad 2 or something similar? Or is the game pretty much restricted to mouse/keyboard only?

Often enough you'll hear people say "Oh but game X was much longer - I completed X II in a couple of days", and fair enough, often it does seem as though games these days are over that much more quickly. Perhaps it's just that we're better at them. Or perhaps not.
