Stuck in the room with a joining room seperated by bars, and a mini pool at
the bottom.  Also, there is an air vent between the rooms, but when I go
thought that, I get to the next room, but can get to stairs (on other side
from ladder)

My Norwegian Visa and Mastercard (which I have used in the US on three trips
this year) were rejeceted by Steam. I therefore downloaded a "backup"
version which I can use until I get this sorted out.
I had no problems the first couple of times I played it, but now it says

i am stuck where the magnet releases the car, and it turtles on its back;
is there a way to put it upright?  or just run the course on foot? (i did
make it to the next bldg etc, but this seems pretty slow and uses a lot of
ammo).

I just finished - and I am a little underwhelmed.
I played "normal" - but there were not enough puzzles / problem solving for
me.  The story was OK, the graphics were very good, it had some really cool
things in it - like new weapons, leading people, hover boat, buggy, etc.

Today I started over again to explore more of the game. When I started HL2
steam updated it, and now my gfx is all f.cked!
I have tried to lower gfx settings, and set audio to low, but no go?

Ok, I've gotten to the top of the teleport tower in Dark energy and I have no
ideal on what to do next. Can anyone provide a hint?

My steam purchased version works great so far abeit that i have to download
content as i get to it as HL2 only takes up 800 odd MB on my HD. Had an ATI
voucher for it. Is there a timedemo for HL2 or what`s the ...

I've played HL2 with my firewall on without any problem. But as with
Counter-strike, CS:S requires the firewall to open.
I have ZoneAlarm as a firewall and don't know how to open a port to play the

What's the general consensus? Is this game worth my hard earned money or
not.

Just after you get the Colt 45 and make your way up to a bunch of empty
containers a helicopter shows up and I've got no guns strong enough to take
it out. How do I waste the copter and better yet, how do I get the huge
water gates open?
