In short, enjoyable, but too easy for a Contra game. Second play through got me a low ranking and a bad ending. Third try, a better ranking, an additional mission, and a better ending. Fourth time, again, a better ranking, another mission, and the best(?) ending.

I'm certain this has been mentioned before, but oh my god they should have sorted out the pre-rendered backgrounds and movies for this game on the PC! The 'hi-res' characters look totally out of place on the blocky backdrops now.

Brady guides tend to have a hit or miss rep and with the way this game has a strict percentage goal, I am wondering if it is worth getting off ebay to help get 100 percent. Stores around where I'm at now don't sell the magazine, anymore.
