Anyone know how to keep the dogmeat puppy alive and working with you. The
brave but foolish dog takes on all foes and most of the time dies. I have
used the Resurrect cheat to get him back, but have trouble getting him to
follow me again - don't blame him, I get him killed when ...

I just loaded FO3 and started a new game. My character is born, sex
chosen, and the guy just stands there, I once waited five minutes and
the only thing that happened is the guy bounced up and down a little
right at the beginning. The lights on the  machine in the background
