Another new/returning player post!28 Jun 2007 15:19 GMT9
So, I'm going to be picking up the Anniversary Edition some time this
week, so I can start playing again.  It's literally been years (quit a
couple months before PoP), and my account long ago succumbed to
overdue bills.  So, I'm starting 100% fresh.
EQ still kicking27 Jun 2007 18:27 GMT5
People see a drop-off in group and forum activity and assume the worst, but
the truth is, sites like The Magician's Tower (http://eq1.eqsummoners.com),
The Spirit Realm (http://crucible.samanna.net) and EQ Outrider
(http://eqoutrider.net/forum) are still seeing a good deal of ...
Cursor problem25 Jun 2007 21:17 GMT4
Others seem to be having a similar problem, but I'm not sure if it's the
same. While I see the nice, heavy gold type cursor while sitting through
the login and splash screens, when I get in-game, it changes to a normal,
white Windows cursor. I could live with that, except that ...
Wayfarer stone25 Jun 2007 20:52 GMT5
I have retuned to EQ. I also bought the anniversary edition so I'm
also uptodate on expansions.
I decided to get my LDON stone so that traveling between zones would
be quicker or at least more convient. My problem is I thought Cabillis
Complete Heal22 Jun 2007 23:06 GMT3
I have a level 54 cleric. I know that players in game now have a huge
amount of HPs and a CH sometimes doesn't even heal for half their
HPs!! So my question to you is, which is better wisdom items, high
manna items and is it also important to have good manna regen.
So, I hear the boats are back in EQ ? Is it nice having them back ?22 Jun 2007 16:08 GMT4
I have been out of EQ for a few years but read a few weeks ago that
the boats were back ?  I think I was, at the time, one of the very few
people in EQ who actually enjoyed the boats and the way they made me
feel that EQ was a world and not just a game. I was thinking of
Chat window cursor22 Jun 2007 01:40 GMT1
I prefer to use the W A S D keys instead of the arrow keys to move
about. But a problem has arisen that is causing my huge headaches.
Many times an active cursor appears in the chat window and when I use
my WASD keys I obviously don't go anywhere but instead fill the chat
Bizbee?  You dead yet?21 Jun 2007 01:36 GMT1
Just checking in on my old (and I mean old) buddy.
A place were you can get lost20 Jun 2007 18:01 GMT1
If you like RPG online games and, in the same time, getting lost :),
you must enter here
http://www.fallensword.com/?ref=589224 It's a lot about understanding
and how to evolve, always with the risk of losing, but, at least, if
Back online20 Jun 2007 17:48 GMT5
For the past 4 and a half months I've been on the road, only able to
connect to the net via WiFi at fast food places and the like.
I managed to log onto EQ a few times, but didn't really do much, just
greeted old friends mostly...
bazaar UI mod?15 Jun 2007 13:19 GMT1
I suppose this would be better posted in the forums at eqinterface,
but I've actually avoided custom interfaces so far, making do with
hotkeys and other such "default UI" tools to customise my play, so
I don't have an account there to post with.  So I figured I'd see
technical issue15 Jun 2007 01:25 GMT8
At first, I would play only in traditional mode, thinking that windowed mode
slowed game play.   Then my guild began to use Ventrilo for voice
communication and I wanted to take a fast look to see to whom the voice
belonged.  So, I used windowed mode all of the time and noticed ...
How many have or are playing Vanguard?13 Jun 2007 05:23 GMT7
Nothing specific, I'm just curious as to how many EQ players have
tried VG or are currently playing it.
And if you're playing it *instead* of EQ that would be interesting as
well.
Just sad07 Jun 2007 14:39 GMT55
11 of the 16 posts from April 4 through April 30 were pure spam (much
of it WoW spam, no less). It's just sad to see this in a community
that I enjoyed so much for so long. :(

Got to love it now that the moderator at SOE forum is allowed to post
patch note a few hours ahead of the expected server downtimes.  Here's
