Oddity in Oblivion29 Apr 2008 15:56 GMT3
I am playing with no patches or mods. I have a level 12 character. I
have two lock opening spells. One is a easy lock and the other is
Warden Key(hard). I have been able to use both of these spells with no
problem as often as I liked, until I opened a door with the Warden and

So, I am walking around west of Skingrad and see a new Oblivion Gate
opening out past the grape fields.  I walk over towards the gate and
spot a bandit.  The bandit looks in my driection, pulls out a mace and
runs towards me.  Ok, I am not in sneak mod, so I figure he has seen

We really "NEED" something to discus here.
I sneak back to Morrowind once a week to give my Dark Elf "Vierna Do"Urden a
bit of play time.
Need to re-install Oblivion as a lately installed MOD killed the
Quick Question29 Apr 2008 02:57 GMT2
When can you start closing Oblivion Gates?
Do you have to wait until some part of the story?
Or can you close them whenever you feel like it?
I'm just trying to get my character strong, and little else so far.
Hackdirt Oddity27 Apr 2008 05:33 GMT6
Two questions.
1.) Install is corrupted, or mod conflict?
"Natch Pender" is stalking me...  From Hackdirt, quick-travel back to
Chorrel & there he is.  (He does walk back to Hackdirt).  Quick travel to

download any new messages from this newsgroup as friend, Keith Dendle, has
informed me that my last two attempts to communicate with this group were in
fact replied to.
Bummer.
[Obliv] An Unexpected Conjurer21 Apr 2008 21:11 GMT10
As I came out of the Aleswell Inn, where I had been sorting out my
armor, an unnamed generic Conjurer attacked, summoning a scamp. I
summoned a Skeleton, and stood back to watch the fun. Shagol gro-Bumph
defended, and a nearby sheep got involved in the fight too.
About those flawless gems21 Apr 2008 20:31 GMT5
Is there anything special about flawless gems that you can't do with
the "less than perfect" ones? Is there any point in saving them,
rather than cashing them in?
Also, I need to find five flawless pearls - is it just a question of
Lost Spire18 Apr 2008 12:59 GMT6
Though I generally don't reveiw mods until I've finished them, I
must say that I am impressed enough with Lost Spire to say it is worth
playing....though I have only done a few quests.  The Archeologists
Guild and quest are complex and interesting.  The visuals are
Character deaths18 Apr 2008 11:29 GMT3
I've been really interested in some of your posts recently regarding game
restarts due to the death of people's characters. This is something that
intriges me as I'm guilty of the same obsessiveness with my characters. At
the moment I'm playing a Level 25 High Elf using a ...
NPC Sword13 Apr 2008 16:28 GMT3
My NPC's sword is completely worn out and she is now fighting by hand only.
Can I repair her sword or give her another one?
Thanks

Bella Moretta & Kumiko Manor mods07 Apr 2008 03:25 GMT3
Thanks for the tips.
Like "Lost Palidins of the Divine", these mods should offer some nice
surprises if I discover them.
In playing "hardcore" RP tho, haven't "discovered" Kumiko Manor, but as luck

Has anyone else here tried it? I don't think I've found every room
yet...

A complaint from many NPCs05 Apr 2008 07:05 GMT4
I don't know how many times an NPC has said to me "You have my ear,
friend!" and yet *not one* of them has ever asked me to give it back!
What's up with that! :)

Gee Whiz; it's sooo quiet05 Apr 2008 01:41 GMT9
The end of march and the latest post was 3/11.
Sigh~~~~~~~~~~
I am still playing "Vierna Do'Urden" the Dark Elf within Morrowind.
How about YOU?
