Hi all. Ever since I visited Frostcrag Spire and have tried to buy the
upgrades to it, I'm finding that the Mystic Emporium has very strange
business hours. I don't remember this happening before, but maybe I
just didn't notice before.

Is it safe to delete the save files from the directory in Windows? I
wasn't sure if there was another way or if they are somehow connected to
each other so that I might affect my latest save if I delete an older one.

without being forced to join?  (or have quest permanently active?)

Based on my brief research, I'm afraid the answer is no. In Morrowind
there was a Levitate and Slowfall spell, both of which were extremely
useful and part of the reason I loved being a mage. They were a big
part of what made that game so expansive and free form.

A while back, I was looking to enchant a "loot transport" ring.  I
compared Feather to Forify Strength, and it seemed that the latter was
far more effective at increasing your effective carrying ability.
Are there any reasons/situations where Feather is better?
