Ok so not strictly speaking a Morrowind question but I do play Morrowind ...
... my specs are those of the PCG-V505EX VAIO computer
i.e.
 a.. Intel Pentium M 1.5GHz Processor

This is probably a dumb question, but I admit to being somewhat ignorant
with computers.  The Balmora Expansion comes as an ACE file which
doesn't self-extract and doesn't seem to unzip either.  Does anyonme
have simple installation instructions for the non-technosavvy?  Thanks

magic item in a cave somewhere called "Belt of Free Action".  It basically

anyone knows if there will be some compatibility between a mod that will run
on a US version of the game and a localized version (eg: Italian, if any)...

Morrowind worked fine for a few months then started goofing up. I
uninstalled then reinstalled it. But it still isn't working.
I am trying to play Morrowind, but it keeps crashing within 3 to 4
minutes of playing. When it crashes, I get a Windows message saying

You all might remember me from my posts several months back about how I
loved Morrowind and how I just discovered it earlier this year.  Well, I
just wanted to say that I finally beat that Dagoth Ur!  And I did it with a
Bosmer Warrior - a crappy combination from what I've heard.

Can't seem to get this mod to start. The readme says to finish the first job
for Caius Cosades, then wander about in Balmora till you receive a message
from Socucius Ergalla. I've wandered on and off for ever and no messenger
ever seems to appear.
