Just bought BF1942. It was only £4.99 with MoH Allied Assault & Secret
Weapons Over Normandy so thought I'd get it. Gave up on buying it on its

Sometimes using a machine gone it goes from autmatic to shotting one bullet
at a time.  What button did I hit to cause that?  I couldn't find it in the
manual and I couldn't find the key in the control menu.

Seems installing the 1.3 patch after the official CD was not the end
of my troubles.
Next the game complained about an invalid CD Key. Had to fix the
registry entry.

I get very long login times, and when it does login I find it has
automatically joined a random server and is loading the map when I get in. I
have deleted all my favs, deleted and retrieved my profile, and even tried
to manually update PB. I have no idea what could cause this. ...

The progress bar I see in BFHQ is maxed out all the way to the right,
but I still can't get promoted to the next rank.  Am I missing
something?  Perhaps a number of total kills or something?  Where can I
see the requirements before one can get promoted to each rank?  I am

Wow, I have been practicing flying on the Op Clean Sweep single player map
in expert mode. It's pretty lame at times. As soon as the round starts it
spawns you near the BH, not the jet. By the time you get to the hangar the
jet has taken off so you're left there holding your nads.

When SF first came out, I was in a BF2 server in the karkland map, and there
was a guy there showing off his unlock, he was using Flashbangs in the
karkland server.
How do you get SF weapons in a BF2 game?

Why did this happen? now i cant play this map!
