I saw a comment on a server login screen last night, something about "No server
stream hacking".
What is this?  Some new kind of cheat?  Is it an admin-hack or a player hack?

 We've talked about the mouse we use and how it and how you hold it
wears on your wrist and hand but i wore my damn chair out. All the
cushion went to the edges so I had to take some foam from an old
cheapass matress and restuff it.

Loging on to the account server seems to be taking longer and there are
absolutely no servers showing up in the in-game browser unless I turn off
all filters when 3 really shitty servers appear. Some of my recent/most
played on servers are on the favourites tab and I can join ...

posted about the Codename Eagle mod for BF2, and it ssems to have
vanished from Mediacoms alt.games.battlefield1942 feed.

wow oh wow, talk about an xmas pressie.
Codename Eagle for those that dont know, was the game that DICE made
before BF1942, on the BF2 engine it should be amazing.

Hey all, i jsut installed special forces, everything seemed to go ok,
but it won let me connect to any sf servers. I reinstalled the 1.12
patch as told by friend, but it still saysi need to revert to old bf
version. any ideas, thanks

A friend of mine turned up the other day while I was getting slaughtered in
BF2....

There's no hope left for BF:2.
I just patched it and it's worse now than it was before the patch.
Each time I load into a new game, it "Optimizes shaders" and tells me
that this will occur every time I change a setting. Guess what? I

I have had some in-depth discussions pretty recently about what, if
anything shoulld upgrade to imrpove BF2.  Part of this debate is the
"verifying client data" which for me took forever sometimes, other
times it did not.  Disabling NAV helped but it still was inconsistant.
