Ok, the game looks really good, and on my new system it runs well. But
that's about it. An M1 tank can't kill someone on the other side of a wooden
fence? APCs that cant crush a wood fence? Put a full auto clip into someone,
maybe they die maybe they don't. What exactly are the ...

No, no, I'm not gonna moan about the lag, but.......
How come on some ranked servers your team wins....then at the end screen
it says it was a draw, and in the top right hand you get a message
saying 'unknown server mod' or something similar.

My PC has 1GB of memory and a 128MB video card (AGP 6600GT). I can
play the demo (I am awaiting my order for the full game to turn up)
fine with medium textures, but if I try high textures I get a lot of
stuttering which seems because of extra pagefile usage. I was

It would be fun to rapal down into a forest clearing in BF2,
or do an air sea rescue type pickup of people on the ground.
hmmmm helicopters, dangling ropes and tall buildings,

Are you able to play BF2 with high details for textures and everything
else smoothly at about 1152x864 resolution and with AGP Aperture size at
256 MB (max)? I tried to set mine this way, but the long load, swapping,

Ok ive done the little sound thing at the beginning of the install and
enabled voice com in the audio section of options.But everytime I connect to
a server it seems to disable itself. Am I doing something wrong or missing a
step? Any help would be appreciated.

Any way to get it into widescreen mode?
I have a Dell 24" widescreen monitor due any day.

When I do the microphone test I get a strong response bar.  But no players
seem to hear me.  For that mater I haven't heard anything beyond the canned
game voices.  Is voice chat working?

Sometimes in the heat of battle, Im not able to catch everything the
tutorial narrator voice says and occasionally I miss something
important.
Is there a way to reset it so that "he thinks" its the first time I'm

Bought the DVD version of the game last night.  Last copy in Target.  :-)
1.  The menu music is horrible.  It sounds like a bad porno soundtrack - at
least DC and other games of the genre use military sounding music.  It
really ruins to mood to hear that crappy music while waiting ...
