Whats the difference for the Sound Options settings of Sound Provider;
Creative Labs EAX,  Creative Labs EAX2, Creative Labs EAX3 or the Miles Fast
2D Positional Audio? Do the EAX sound better or work better for frame rate
than the Miles Fast 2D when using an Audigy 2 card?

I recently had to swap down to a lowly old monitor on a machine with 1942/DC
installed.The machine used to have a nice 19" monitor.
Now, I cannot convince 1942/DC to start in 800x600 resolution, it insists on
starting in 1024x768 (which my dumpy monitor shows in a very wierd way -

I'm trying to create a new Swamp map, and the limit of 2048 objects for the
map won't let me put enough vegetarian on the map to make it look real.

I was in the middle of a game when this message appears "You have been
kicked for 2 minutes for trying to modify the Punkbuster client" or
something like that.  What's up with that?  I have never even downloaded a
cheat, let alone try to use one!

Does anyone else have to continue resetting the Joystick axis everytime a
new level loads? My left and right on my Joystick keeps swapping. I've saved
the profile, created a new profile. Never changes. This is only for the land
and sea setting. Air is ok. My Joystick is a Logitech ...

Just got my new Radeon 9800 Pro, took out a GeForce 2 Pro.

I found these drivers fix a few of the issues I had with bfv. also a
great improvement for farcry (fixes a z buffer issue). oh your defrag
will be boned unless you turn NView off before you run it, minor thing
that.

I'm sure many people are having this issue, and ive read many posts
about it, so ill keep it short; whenever i try to play bf1942 or
desert combat online, the loading bar gets about 3/4 of the way done,
and then it says "disconnected from server". This is DRIVING ME
