Destroying runways.03 Apr 2004 03:26 GMT6
In the Prima guide extract on the BF:V site (
http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/vietnam/us/strategy.jsp ),
it says that you can stop aircraft spawning at runways by destroying
the control tower.  Has anyone done this, I've tried a few times now,

maybe punkbuster might see it as a cheat?

Repairing Planes/Hangers-Flaming Dart or other maps02 Apr 2004 17:39 GMT8
I know if you fly low at the US base, you can re-arm yourself, but it
doesn't fix your plane damage. Stupid question I know - but where/how do you
fly into to repair your plane damage, or do you have to pick the engineer
and repair after landing?

Anyway I can fix this?  I emailed DELL tech support and they just sent an
automated response to use the REPAIR option on WINXP.

I knew I hated Creative Labs for reason.  When they are not sucking they are
blowing... I f.cked up and bought an Audigy 2 zs and I hope that God will
forgive me. The audigy spends most of it's time trying to have sex with my
operating system and acts like it doesn't have time to ...

Aiming/mouse problems with BFV02 Apr 2004 01:35 GMT5
My logitech trackball mouse seems to be overly sensitive in this game and
also has a lot of lag at times. This causes me to swing about wildly when
trying to fix on or track a target. Result is that I get shot before I even
get a chance to do anything.

BFV:  Doppler effect...01 Apr 2004 23:13 GMT8
Is it me, or is that "doppler" effect really annoying?
I'm not a physics guy, but shouldn't the Doppler effect lower the pitch of
the sound without modifying the tempo of the music?
In BFV, they seem to slow the sound down, which reduces both tempo and pitch.

Weird GUI display probs with 1.601 Apr 2004 21:06 GMT3
Hey, I've scoured the net and can't find any help with this- so if
anyone can help that would be great.
The game works fine, except when I start it up-- the opening logos and
movies and Opening Menus are half way off the screen. This sucks

I have a Ti4200 64MB and am finding the game a bit too choppy for my
liking even at 1024x768x32.  My other systems specs:
