If I fly in Nose Cam mode in the Americans-Japs maps I have no sound of the
plane motor. All I have is some noise every few seconds.
I do have sounds of shootings, bombs...
In all other flying modes, and in the British/Russions-Germans maps I have

I just downloaded the 1.6 incremental patch for BF1942 and now none of the
levels load up.
Example in Battle of Midway its to just over half way loading and it stalls,

I just found an additional fix to get the scoreboard in EOD 0.21 for 1.6
working as well.
First install the 'fix to play EOD on 1.6'. You can find that here:

With the curent rule changes you have created a virtual safe zone in the UB.
The undesired results of this rule "may" be:
1. Personnel hanging out for the vehicle/aircraft of their choice.
2. More chatting from people just "standing around" in the UB.

polish BF scene pointed out several issues not mentioned in any readmes
or press releases concerning 1.6 changes. Maybe you can point something
yourself?

... it does not fix the ingame menu but it at least you can play EOD again
with 1.6 (both servers and clients must install this one).
