This isnt BF but I recall a discussion a while ago where someone asked
why in Das Boot they went silent when active sonar sould detect them.
Someone answered the question for me so Im pasting it here as its
quite interesting.

Downloaded this fps demo yesterday from avault.com.
looks very good,with some real looking jungle. And the demo is fun too play.
You need a really good rig to run it smoothly.

Just a few minutes ago appeard a nn incremental patch on ea's ftp server for
1.5 to 1.6 upgrades for clients.

Alright, finally got an adapter for my MS Sidewinder pro joystick. Ive
calibrated it twice. NOW, it is too fricken sensative in game. Any way of
toning it down a tad? I know there a mouse sensativity slider but I like my
mouse the way it is without using it to adjust the stick. Any ...
