I have seen a couple of posts about custom maps, the ones for Sat are great,
and I have a question about format. What is rar? How is it read by BF?  And
do I need to convert it to anything other format to use it when a game calls
for a map in this format?  Thanks for any help.. ...

I've been playing the demo for Secret Weapons for almost two weeks and will
probably buy BF42. My question is this.

That had to be the funniest thing I ever seen. At first I thought he had to
be cheating. I mean, 50 kills with 1 or 2 deaths....every game.....until I
seen what he was doing. This guy had artillery down to a science. All he did
was move his arty to the repair - reload pad and fire ...

   I know in the past I have been thinking about how cool it would be
to combine something like Command and Conquer with BF1942.  I've gone
through this before, but its like one guy is a commander and sees a 3D
overhead view of the action, while everyone on the ground gets commands

I suggest changing the name of server Uno so it matches
Deux. ie: remove brackets from around AGB and remove
the word Clan from it's name. Fairly sure that would bring
more visitors since both will be listed together instead of

well, after talking to AGB Bid Daddy last night on Ventrilo, I came to
find out that he is not the one that switched his name to
"ChunkyMonkeyNuts".  Just FYI, since AGB Big Daddy does not post on NG
and I did not know.  

Today was a busy day.  Upgraded both Vanilla and DC to new boxes.  Here
