Another question from the noobie - I keep reading about Desert Combat.  What
is it and where can I download it? Will it work with BF (with out the
expansion packs )

Subject says it all. I used to have no problem with BF till I tried to
upgrade to the 1.4 version. Running 1.4 or 1.45, I get pauses of 3 to
5 seconds every 10 to 30 seconds.
Needless to say, this makes the game unplayable.  :(  

I just download Desert combat but when I try to play it go's back to
battlefield
what do I  need to do

I was enjoying the training but got disconnects due to a weak ISP. Got a new
ips since a week or two and they are having problems with a steady
conncetion. Got about 40-48 disconnects in 24 hrs... if it is working then
everything is fine,  but it disconnected me from the training ...

1.  How the hell do you find enemy tanks when flying around in the planes?

Last Thursday as Creamy did, I picked up a copy of Halo PC. Tonight I
finished it with a total of 44 in-game hours. Even the gamespy
(http://www.gamespy.com/reviews/september03/halopc/) gave a pretty good
review for the game, IMHO, Halo PC is another over-rated game.
