What store had Battlefield 1942 for $20-$25???30 Sep 2003 19:58 GMT6
I thought Best Buy had Vanilla on sale for $20 or $25 this week?!?
I just looked and they want $50.
Was it someone else that had it on sale, or was it last week?
DC ... fly a helicopter30 Sep 2003 19:39 GMT19
DC has only recently drawn my attention and I must say I'm impressed with
something that is free and could as well be just sold as an expansion pack
like SW.
There's one thing that I can't figure out yet. I can't fly the helicopter. I

Hia,
I am looking for those small stickers you put on the front of your pc, where
normally the brand or pentium logo is.
I want one with: "Made for BF1942", or "Built for Bf1942"

A DC Heli training site would be cool!30 Sep 2003 18:10 GMT13
This is just a brain fart!
For people who do not know how to fly the Apache, Hind, Blackhawk. Or for
people who want to share their knowledge of flying these dangerous birds. It
would be neat to have a website dedicated to the Heli pilots of DC. You
Major Lag30 Sep 2003 16:41 GMT16
I've noticed something happening consistently when I'm online and I
can't tell if it's a because of my system or if it's actually lag.  It
seems worse in DC, but it happens in vanilla BF too.
Occasionally my screen freezes and my controls stop functioning

Forgotten Hope Mod30 Sep 2003 08:06 GMT32
Not sure why I never looked at this mod, but it sure looks like a winner to
me. I noticed it in the BF1942 newsletter and am downloading it now.
It's a huge download (500 Megs, including the mappack), but it adds a lot of
content to WWII BF1942. Take a look in the vehicles section ...

came across a message just like this that said you could make

Server list makes menu-loading slow...29 Sep 2003 23:14 GMT5
I was wondering if anyone had a solution to this problem:
The main menu of Battlefield 1942 takes a long time to load.
This started right after I did a 'server list' update, loading the
properties of some 1800 servers.
