OK, back now after two weeks vacation.  Got to downloading strait away,
starting with the 1.45 patch.  First thing it tells me is the integrity
check fails, I have a bolluxed version of 1.4, and to reinstall BF1942.  Are
these people mental?  I have more maps, mods and patches now ...

   So I installed the 1.45 incremental, got some error message, then installed the full
1.45. Now I'm getting random connection issues, and disconnects.
   I'm going to uninstall everything, but want to know what order everything should be
re-installed. Do I install all of the ...

We should start a list or page or something to commiserate the AGB'rs that
are truly exceptional.  I will take it upon myself to nominate few of my
idea of the best AGBers to date.
Villy, who can argue that Villy is not the BEST AGBer we have?

I have 1.45, the server sez it's 1.45, I get "wrong version", no CD crackz,
etc.
EA is wearing thin.....................

Can someone post instructions on how to create virtual drives --- this crap
about swapping CD's in and out created by the 1.45 patch is absolutly
rediculous.

Hello, this patch stinks like everyone says. Is there a working NoCD
patch that works? I remember using one many months ago, but it didn't
work with mods like Desert Combat. Do they work now if they exist?
No, I cannot make virtual CDs. I only have like 2 GB of free disk space

Why should I purchase Secret Weapons next month when I have to swap out the
CDs each time I choose to play a mod? EA has to improve their code if they
want more sales. This patch business is stupid! (Sorry for the rant)

Anybody else get an error message similar to above when trying to install
the 1.4 to 1.45 incremental patch?  After getting the message I checked and
the game runs fine, I have no custom stuff installed, and only RtR (1.4) and
DC (.39) mods installed.  I am not using a noCD file ...

Okay 1.4 was fine....latest is not always the greatest.
I installed the full version and it installed fine but 1942 crashes to the
desktop when I run it.  Also it only wants the 1942 CD, it doesn't like the
Road to Rome one.  I have a P4 2.4 with 1GB of  RAM and ATI 8500 with 128MB.

Anyone else getting multiplayer connect problems?  I did a complete
reinstall after geting "failed to connect to server" error messages only to
still get them.  I've got BF, RTR and DC installed.  Nothing else.
This sucks....
